Relax on the spectacular porch, hike, bike, meditate,
write, crafts, cook, eat, and enjoy this little piece of paradise in the Rocky Mountains.
We have no neighbors for miles, except hummingbirds, chipmunks, deer and elk! At night enjoy a barbecue, bonfire, socializing, music
making and stargazing.
TO BRING: Open mind, positive attitude, camping gear (very limited indoor sleeping accommodations with new
baby Bentley), hike/bike equipment, non-electric instruments, camera, warm clothes for potentially cold nights,
personal items. Bring your own cooler, ice, & food or arrange in advance for group meals.
TO EXPECT: Beautiful lodge with big porch, full kitchen, outdoor grill, indoor toilets, hot water & tub - no shower, music, no TV, piano, pool table, spectacular property with Buffalo Creek in backyard, wildflowers galore, views of the Castle rock formation, opportunity for deep woods experience and brain expansion (or contraction)!

LOCATION: 60 miles SW of downtown Denver. Take 285 west of C470, past Conifer to Pine Junction. Turn left on Pine Valley Rd (Hwy. 126) and go 14 miles (past Pine, Buffalo Creek, burn zone) to forest service sign pointing right for Buffalo Creek Campground & Wellington Lake (FR 550). At 5.5 miles is a fork on the dirt road, go straight on FR 543 one more mile to 20950 Buffalo Creek Rd. We're the only house out here!
